Objectives(2023-24):

I.       Purpose
The Careers Committee aims to assist students to develop competencies in the following dimensions:
1. self-understanding and development - identify interest, values, talents and circumstances
2. pathway exploration - explore multiple pathways (work/study)
3. career and life management - develop relevant skills and prepare for transition from youth and school to adulthood and work

 

II.      Objectives

1.     To provide training opportunities for adventures and leadership for junior form students. (B1.3)

2.     To review the curriculum for facilitation of career planning.(B2.1)

3.     To collaborate with different subject departments and committees (for example, Guidance, alumni and PTA) to explore multiple pathways for students.(B2.2)

4.     To conduct various workshops of group and individual counselling to cater students’ diversity.(B2.3)

Major concern B: Pursuing a Quality Life B1: Students are cultivated with positive values and attitudes to enhance their capabilities to face the ever-changing society and challenges B2: Students are able to master and manage their Career and Life Planning

3. Collaborate with different subject departments and committees (for example, Guidance, alumni and PTA) to organize various workshops, visits and programmes to enhance students’ career exploration. (B2.2)

  • ≥ 75% of participants of small group career activities and co-curricular activities are satisfied with the activities that can enhance their self-understanding and development / career exploration / career planning and management.

4.Conduct small group career activities in order to cater interest diversity. (B2.3)
