Objectives

  1. To cultivate a culture of self-evaluation by developing a self-appraisal system which strives for continuous self-improvement, thereby contributing to school development and the enhancement of accountability.
  2. To develop tailor-made school improvement programmes in line with the objectives of school-based management.
  3. To develop school-based performance indicators which help gauge the effectiveness of self-evaluation.
  4. To encourage Peers Observation, with an emphasis on idea exchange which leads to self-reflection and improvement, and promotion of staff professional development.
